9 x 7 x 4 inches, wool, angora, mylar, wire

Exploring the intersection of people and nature, many of my works take a serious look at how humans impact the environment. This piece takes a more light-hearted approach. Simple and direct, this playful sculpture captures the childhood joy of a snowy day. The pure crayon-like colors of the mitten suggest youthful energy. The snowball sparkles as light catches the glints of mylar mixed with wool and angora.

This piece is on exhibit at Studio Place Arts, 201 N. Main St., Barre VT through March 1, 2025. It is available for purchase through SPA. For more information, contact me at eve@evejacobs-carnahan.com.
