Creative Sector Convening

St. Albans, VT

June 5, 2026

Join me at the morning panel discussion during the Vermont Arts Council’s Creative Sector Convening. It’s an all-day event with great panels, presentations, and activities.

For details and registration click here.

Here’s the description of my panel:

Participatory Art in Action

Presenters: jen berger, Brian Collier, Eve Jacobs-Carnahan

This panel brings together three artists whose collaborative, artist-led practices engage urgent environmental and social issues. Through projects grounded in community participation, each presenter creates opportunities for individuals to connect, reflect, and take action through creative work. The session will begin with a self-moderated conversation exploring the specific methods and approaches that shape our practices, followed by dialogue with the audience. We will conclude with simple, hands-on activities that invite participants to experience these approaches directly. Together, this session highlights how creative collaboration can foster agency, deepen community connections, and support meaningful engagement with the critical issues facing Vermont and the nation.

Montpelier Art Walk

3 Granite St., Studio 204, Montpelier, VT

June 5, 2026 • 4-8 pm

Visit my studio in the former Clothespin Factory at 3 Granite St, Montpelier, during Art Walk! You’ll be able to see completed art on display and work in progress. I’ll be there all evening for conversation.

The building is the large grey former factory building on the corner of Stone Cutters Way and Granite Street. The entrance is in the back, near the Granite Street bridge. I’m on the second floor. (Unfortunately, there is no elevator.)

There will be four artist studios open in the building that evening.
