Frequently asked questions
How do I purchase artwork?
Select the artwork you like and click Add to Cart. You’ll see an estimated shipping fee of $25 added. This is an estimate of the shipping and insurance cost. See below for more information on shipping. On the Shopping Cart page, click Proceed to Checkout. You’ll be able to pay by credit card through Square, a secure payment processor. I accept VISA, MC, AmEx, and Discover. Click Place Order.
Where can I see the artwork in person before purchasing?
My artwork is regularly exhibited in regional and national shows. You will find a list of my current exhibits here. If you live in, or are visiting Vermont, we can arrange for you to visit my studio. Or, I might be able to bring the artwork to you so you can see how it looks in your home or office. If neither of these options work, I can make you a video to give you a sense of the piece that interests you.
If an artwork says “On Display” is it for sale?
Yes! Artworks that say “On Display” are currently on exhibit in a museum or art center. In most cases, they are available for purchase and can be delivered to you when the exhibit ends. Contact me for specifics about the piece that interests you.
How does shipping work?
When you purchase the artwork, you’ll pay an estimated shipping fee of $25. For small artworks, this may be adequate. For larger works, I will contact you with the exact shipping and insurance fees. You can pay any additional fees with PayPal or a check. Depending on your location, I may be able to deliver the art to you in person.
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon transfer of the product to the carrier. I am not liable for any delays in shipments, nor am I required to refund orders lost by the carrier. If an item is not delivered by the carrier, you must notify me within 10 days of the originally scheduled delivery date.
I am currently set up to ship only to U.S. addresses. Shipments outside the U.S. may be possible with special arrangements. In such cases, shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country and will be your responsibility.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. If you’d like more information about the work, I may be able to email you more photos or a video. Just contact me at the email below.
What should I know about caring for artwork?
To maintain the intensity of the colors, keep your artwork away from windows and direct light. The colors in the dyes and pigments in fiber art, like watercolors and other artwork, will fade if exposed to direct sunlight.
To remove dust, cover the fabric/upholstery attachment of your vacuum cleaner with a nylon sock and vacuum gently. I provide one in the cleaning kit I send with every purchase.
