Frequently asked questions

If an artwork says it is “On Display” is it for sale?

Yes. Artworks that say “On Display” are currently on exhibit in a museum or art center. In most cases, they are available for purchase and can be delivered to you when the exhibit ends. Contact me for specifics about the piece that interests you.

What to know about caring for artwork?

To maintain the intensity of the colors, keep your artwork away from windows and direct light. The colors in the dyes and pigments in fiber art, like watercolors and other artwork, will fade if exposed to direct sunlight.

To remove dust, cover the fabric/upholstery attachment of your vacuum cleaner with a nylon sock and vacuum gently. You can use the one I provide in the cleaning kit I send with every purchase.

Where to see artwork in person before purchase?

My artwork is regularly exhibited in regional and national shows. You will find a list of my current exhibits here. If you live in, or are visiting Vermont, we can arrange for you to visit my studio. Or, I might be able to bring the artwork to you so you can see how it looks in your home or office. If neither of these options work, I can make you a video to give you a sense of the piece that interests you.

How does shipping work?

As of May 2024, shipping within the continental U.S. is included in the purchase price. This may change in the future. If you want a product shipped to Hawaii or Alaska, contact me for additional shipping costs.

In some instances I may be able to deliver the art to you in person. This might be a good option when a piece is large. Contact me about arranging personal delivery.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon transfer of the product to the carrier. I am not liable for any delays in shipments, nor am I required to refund orders lost in the mail. If an item is not delivered by the carrier, you must notify me within 10 days of the originally scheduled delivery date.

I am currently set up to ship only to U.S. addresses. Shipments outside the U.S. may be possible if you contact me to make arrangements. In such cases, shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are your responsibility.

Returns?

All refunds are at the artist’s sole and exclusive discretion. Except for any products designated on this website as non-returnable, I will accept a return of a product for a refund of your purchase price, less the original shipping and handling costs, provided such return is made within 15 days of delivery and provided such products are returned in their original condition. To return products, you must e-mail me at eve@evejacobs-carnahan.com. You are responsible for all shipping and handling charges on returned items. You bear the risk of loss during shipment, meaning if an item is not delivered back to me, you will not be refunded.
