Part of my series Eternal Vigilance, these birds have knocked down the cage that once confined them. They begin to walk away, but the prison of the past still swirls around their heads in their minds. The distressed surfaces of their feathers reveal something of their tortured souls, but they push forward. There is a bright energy emanating from within.
This piece is part of my narrative series Eternal Vigilance. View and read about the series here.
