American citizens face many obstacles to voting today. A number of states enacted laws after the 2020 election to make voting more difficult. Like sharp objects that are hazardous to chickens, these laws are hazardous to voters who want to choose their elected representatives. Barriers imposed through unnecessary paperwork practically fence off the franchise. This work is part of a series called Making the Voters Chicken.
